~ When burning the candle for the very first time, let it burn for at least 2-3 hours to create a full melt pool (melted wax that reaches or touches the edges of the container).

~ Keep the wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm). To do this, pinch the wick with your fingers before each relighting to remove excess burnt material, or use a wick trimmer.

To prevent fire hazard, never leave a burning candle unattended and always light it on a heat-resistant surface. Keep away from flammable objects, pets, children, or anything that can catch fire. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop use when only 1.2 cm (1/2 inch) of wax remains.
